Cuoco-Sweeting had done an interview with Redbook and the most buzzed about comment was that she was "never that feminist girl demanding equality" and went on to explain how she likes taking care of her husband, Ryan Sweeting.

Many people were up in arms at the actress's statements, so she posted a photo from the magazine on Instagram along with an apology in the caption.

"In my 'Redbook' article, some people have taken offense to my comments regarding feminism - if any of you are in the 'biz' you are well aware of how words can be taken out of context," she wrote. "I'm completely blessed and grateful that strong women have paved the way for my success along with many others. I apologize if anyone was offended. Anyone that truly knows me, knows my heart and knows what I meant."

Cuoco-Sweeting is one of three Big Bang Theory stars earning $1 million per episode. The deal was settled ahead of the current eighth season of the massively popular sitcom. The actress, who plays Penny on the series, along with Jim Parsons (Sheldon) and Johnny Galecki (Leonard) are all slated to star in the series until season 10, as CBS has renewed the series until then.

The Big Bang Theory airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
