Celebrity couple Paul Wesley and Phoebe Tonkin might know how to be pale on television, but in real life, it's all about the tan.

Paul Wesley Reveals Heartbreaking End Of Character On 'The Vampire Diaries'

On Sunday, Tonkin posted a photo of herself with Wesley on a Mexican beach trip. The two lie down forward while wearing sunglasses and swimsuits as they give small smirks into the camera. Wesley has his shirt off where a part of his arm tattoo can be seen and he adds a black hat on his head. Tonkin has her dark hair back as she rests on her beau who looks pretty happy.

The two seem to be keeping their chemistry alive off-screen when they're not working on The Vampire Diaries and The Originals. This is also a rare photo of the couple that the actress posted on social media; despite being on two of The CW's most popular shows, Tonkin and Wesley have managed to stay out of the spotlight when it comes to their private lives.

In Tonkin's blog from last November, she brought up her lover and a great holiday memory she had with him.

"My most memorable holiday to date was when I recently rented a house in Mexico with my boyfriend," the actress wrote. "We spent the week drinking margaritas, riding bikes, eating guacamole and reading books by the sea. It was so simple and so perfect."

Whatever happened in the Instagram photo she posted, this might add to Tonkin's list of happy memories with the on-screen vampire hunk.
