'Teen Mom 4' News: MTV Producers Will Reportedly Meet Next Week To Discuss Possible Series [VIDEO]
Teen Mom 4 may be the next MTV reality series to hit TV screens.
In a couple of new reports, details regarding the possible series have been revealed. In the latest report, it was noted that MTV will soon meet to discuss whether they will feature girls from the upcoming 16 and Pregnant in a fourth installment of Teen Mom.
According to Teen Mom Junkies, the series is "still being discussed by producers." A source told the site, "They are having a meeting on Monday to further talk about the future of season 5’s girls."
'16 & Pregnant' Will Return For Season Six With A Major Change
Following the first season of 16 and Pregnant, MTV launched the first installment of Teen Mom, which featured Maci Bookout, Amber Portwood, Farrah Abraham and Catelynn Lowell, all of whom gave birth to their first child as teens. As 16 and Pregnant continued to see success, the network continued on with Teen Mom, airing Teen Mom 2 and Teen Mom 3 in the years that followed.
However, after Teen Mom 3 was canceled after just one season, many thought the series was done for good. Now, that doesn't appear to be the case -- at least not if the ratings for the upcoming 16 & Pregnant are good.
"MTV has not pulled the plug on a Teen Mom spinoff for this crop of girls," Teen Mom Junkies reported earlier this month. "If the ratings for their catch up special were high enough, the chances of a Teen Mom 4 coming to your screen are extremely likely.”
