The season of giving is technically over, but not for Taylor Swift. The "Shake It Off" singer, who gave several fans gifts for Christmas, surprised another devoted one with a special present.
The 25-year-old sent a big package to her die-hard fan named Rebekah Bortniker and the Swiftie taped herself opening it. The package included a handwritten card from Swift, a necklace that once belonged to her and a painting the star painted with her own two hands.

The most surprising part of the gift was a check for $1,989 (the number is reflective of her latest album title) to help Rebekah pay off some of her student loans. The gesture brought Rebekah to tears.
“I know I’ve said it so many times already but thank you, thank you, thank you, from the bottom of my heart. Never in a million years did I ever imagine this happening to me, I never imagined you even knowing who I was let alone you taking your time to paint me something and to write me a note. I am so honored and so thankful to call myself a fan, to have supported you all of these years because you are truly the most amazing, genuine, and selfless person,” the 25-year-old fan also wrote on Tumblr to thank her favorite singer again.
“I’m so thankful to call you a friend and buddy. You have changed my life in the best way. I can’t wait to see you on tour and thank you a 1,989 more times.”
