Walter O'Brien (Elyse Gabel) keeps mementos from the first time he met each of his colleagues, an viewers will get to see a those meetings as the series continues.

Sylvester (Ari Stidham) recounted the past to Walter's older sis during "Talismans," and it is the positive reaction from that episode that propelled writers to pen a flashback episode.

"We've talked about doing an episode that takes place entirely in the past, where we'd get to see when Walter met all these guys for the first time and put together the team," explained EP Nick Santora, according to TV Line. "Backstory is important to us, and we love that fans of the show care about it."

While viewers wait for that episode to materialize - TV Line was unclear if the flashback is planned for season 1 or 2 - CBS will air two new episodes this Sunday and Monday. "Forget Me Nots" will air on Sunday following the NFL AFC Championship game, and "Charade" will be broadcast in Scorpions regular slot Monday at 9 p.m. ET.
