The New Flame singer could potentially wind up in jail as reported by TMZ Thursday.

Brown showed up for a court appearance on Thursday for a probation progress report and it appears as though the judge and probation department are not pleased with his behavior while he has been on probation.

Brown's probation report presented various problems such as the shooting that took place over the weekend at his gig in San Jose, which TMZ also reported on.

The report expressed a lot of concern over the shooting that occurred at 1OAK in West Hollywood in August of last year.

Another issue the judge mentioned is that Brown left the county without permission for his San Jose gig, which is just another strike against him.

Why do these shootings have anything to do with his probation being revoked since his probation was in regard to the Rihanna case? Well, the judge claims there is zero evidence he was criminally involved, but Brown's probation officer stated, "There is also concern that when he performs or attends at some of his public events, people will get shot or seriously injured."

His probation officer also noted that he has been arrested twice while on probation, including an assault in Washington D.C. in October 2013 and for violating a judge's order by getting thrown out of rehab in March of last year.

Brown's probation officer believes the singer has shown "a pattern of making choices that are counterproductive."

The judge will hold a formal hearing on Mar. 20 as reported by TMZ, which will determine if Brown "willfully" violated his probation and if he did, he'll be sentenced to some jail time since the violations are considered felonies.
