It’s been what feels like ages, but Kid Cudi is finally making Man on the Moon III.
The Cleveland native let fans know via Twitter that the follow-up to 2010’s Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager is on its way. He’s also working with his original collaborators - Plain Pat, Emile Haynie, A-Trak and Dot Da Genius.
“I can't/won't make MOTM3 w/o Pat, Emile & A Trak in the studio. We started together, we finish this together. It's time I assemble the team,” Cudi tweeted Tuesday, later including Dot Da Genius.
"We all had a vision we shared for this story. I can't create the magic yall want with out their energy and genius to bounce off of."
Cudi also shared a photo of himself with Emile Haynie sitting in front of a piano along with the caption, "And so it begins..."

As for the others, they are also on board for part three.
“The bat-signal is heard loud and clear, homie. Let’s do this,” A-Track tweeted.
Plain Pat wrote: “Let's go!! The worlds needs motm3!”
Man on the Moon: The End of Day, Cudi’s debut studio album, was released in 2009 and went to No. 4 on Billboard. He put out the follow-up one year later. In the midst of making movies, including Need for Speed and Two Night Stand, Cudi also released two more albums – 2013’s Indicud and 2014’s Satellite Flight. But, he left fans pleading for the Man on the Man III.
It’s about time Cudi!
