Ethan Chandler might just finally meet Frankenstein's creature on Penny Dreadful this season.

Whole Cast Coming Together For Epic Scene On 'Penny Dreadful' This Season 

Ethan (Josh Hartnett) and the creature, Caliban (Rory Kinnear), didn't have any scenes together during the Victorian supernatural drama's first season, but it looks like all that is about to change. Not only were both featured in a scene this week, but Hartnett and Kinnear were decked out in full prosthetics and makeup.

Make Up Designer and Key Prosthetic Makeup Artist Sarita Allison revealed on Twitter Thursday that she'd be applying the "beautiful" prosthetics for both actors for a Friday shoot.

While prosthetics are needed for all of Caliban's scenes as the tormented "creature", Ethan only requiresfull makeup for his werewolf form. So will Caliban and the werewolf go head to head? Is an epic battle approaching between these two unique and unparalled creatures?

Caliban might identify with Ethan's monstrous side, though the fact that Ethan appears to have little to no control over his werewolf self can make things dangerous. Caliban cannot die of old age, but the fact that he ripped Frankenstein's Proteus (Alex Price) in half during season one proved that with enough force he could be killed.

Penny Dreadful returns on Showtime for a second season in 2015.
