Season 16 of Law and Order: SVU is heating up very quickly and the new episodes are getting even crazier by the minute. Episode 15, entitled, Undercover Mother, a mother goes undercover to find her daughter who was taken by sex traffickers, and Detective Olivia Benson is forced to deal with some troubling news that could change her forever.

How Olivia Benson Will Face Tough Time In 'Law and Order SVU' Season 16

The new episode, which is scheduled to air next week, focuses on a woman named Martha Thornhill, who conceals herself as a Madame for three years in hopes of finding and saving her daughter, Ariel.

Martha joins forces with detectives at New York's SVU department and they work tirelessly to bust the pimp and his cohorts, but the twist comes when Ariel is still missing.

'Law & Order: SVU' Picked Up For Another Season

While detectives are doing everything in their power to bring Ariel home safely, there's another twist. Olivia Benson is confronted with a harsh revelation that will change her life forever.

In the NBC exclusive sneak peek, which can be seen below, Detective Benson comes face to face with a gunman while going undercover, and what's uncovered is so shocking, even the detectives are left jaw dropped.
