His romantic life has been somewhat of a shambles because of his continued troubles with both Richie (Raul Castillo) and Kevin (Russell Tovey), but a trip out of town with Dom (Murray Bartlett) and Doris (Lauren Weedman) won't necessarily make things better for Patrick (Jonathon Groff) on Looking.

Richie & Patrick's Relationship Has New Turns

The three head back to Modesto after the sudden death of Doris' father, and Patrick decides to tag along so he can see some of their old haunts from childhood.

However, things become a bit more weird after he attends the memorial service as well-and stands in the back, breaking down in tears-which shocks everyone else around him because none of them recognize him as someone who knew the deceased.

Patrick & Kevin Have 'Lots Of Sex' In Season 2

"Everybody kept asking me, 'Who's the weird guy crying?'" the woman who conducted the service says to Patrick in a preview clip for the Sunday, March 1 episode, Looking For A Plot.

However, things could also be fun and interesting on the trip as well, as the group does explore more around Modesto. And some revelations could come to light when the group goes for a dip in their hotel's pool as well.

"What did you guys do around here growing up? Besides drugs?" Patrick asks.

"We had sex," Dom replies bluntly. "It was really good."

However, Doris thoroughly refutes Dom's claims about his brief foray into sex with a woman.

"Oh my god, no, it was not!" she yells.

Looking season 2 airs Sundays at 10 p.m. on HBO.
