Fox's upcoming slasher series Scream Queens added a new actress to join in on the fright fest.

Is Emma Roberts Leaving 'American Horror Story' To Do 'Scream Queens?'

On Tuesday, Deadline announced that Mulaney star Nasim Pedrad will be a series regular on the horror-comedy about murders taking place at a college campus. She will be joining a group of big names, including Abigal Breslin, Nick Jonas, Joe Mangianello, Keke Palmer and Diego Boneta.

Pedrad's other credits include Saturday Night Live, The Lorax and No Strings Attached.

Emma Roberts Tells Fans 'You Have To Watch' 'Scream Queens'

A lot about Scream Queens remains a mystery right now except that it'll likely have some violence crossed with the typical array of young attractive adults going about their lives until their slashed to pieces by a psychopath.

A teaser trailer was released last month that shows a small glimpse of the horror that will be taking place. A young blonde girl is blowing a piece of bubblegum from her mouth as the bubble grows bigger and smaller. When the girl lifts up an eyebrow, a knife crashes through the gum splattering blood all over the place.

Check it out in the video below.

Emma Roberts will also be in the series as she makes her way as one of the newest scream queens in Hollywood with roles in American Horror Story and Scream 4. If she continues to take on roles from creepy stories, she might make her way up to the level of Jamie Lee Curtis, the main horror movie icon. As it turns out, Curtis will be on the series as well.

Scream Queens is expected to air later this year on Fox.
