Selena Gomez is newly inked as she's gotten another tattoo.

Gomez got the number 76 in Roman Numerals put onto the back of her neck. This makes the second tattoo the former Disney actress has gotten.

Why this particular choice? Well the number 76 has sentimental attachment for Gomez and someone she loves.

"The tattoo was a tribute to a family member who she said means a lot to her," said the tattoo artist for Bang Bang Tattoos. "Selena was nervous it might have been painful, so she held her best friend's hand the whole time. But she did a great job."

The actress arrived for her tattoo wearing a loose striped sweater, dark jeans, knee high boots and kept her hair back in a bun at the trendy New York based tattoo parlor and even posed for a few pictures. Bang Bang Tattoos reported on their Facebook page that the procedure took twenty minutes and Gomez was happy with how it turned out.

The printing was done in the center of the back of her neck displaying "LXXVI" in large lettering.

The first tattoo Gomez got was a musical note, but she only got a small one at the time because of her fear of how much it was going to hurt.

"I was really scared but I got a little one. I was a pansy, actually!" Gomez said, according to the Daily Mail. "It's a music note. Everybody thought it was a heart, but it's a little music note."

Just like her latest tattoo, she got the first one because the symbol had an emotional attachment.

"I was named after a singer and music obviously is a big influence for me. And there's music stuff with my mom that means a lot to me, too."
