It's been eight years since Jennifer Aniston portrayed Rachel Green on the hit sitcom "Friends," but she still carries a part of Rachel with her.

Friends of the 43-year-old actress claim Aniston uses the name Rachel Green when she books appointments or calls restaurants, and the connection is so obvious that people never realize it's actually Aniston on the other line, Showbiz Spy reported.

"Jennifer says people can't believe she'd use Rachel Green as an alias, that it's too obvious," a source said. "She uses it to place food orders, and for facial or massage appointments."

Even though using the Rachel Green name almost always successfully masks Aniston's identity, her friend added that she never takes the chance when it's really important or when her safety is at stake.

"But even though she loves the inside joke, Jen never uses it to book hotel rooms," the source said.

Aniston played the iconic Rachel Green character for the entire 10-season run of "Friends" from 1994 to 2004. The series popularized Aniston's haircut, dubbed "The Rachel," which was copied by women across America. When the show ended in 2004, the series finale drew an enormous audience of 52.5 million viewers.

These days, Aniston is busy planning her wedding to her fiancé, actor and writer Justin Theroux. She's also reportedly getting ready to have a baby, telling friends she and Theroux are ready to get pregnant as soon as possible.

"The night he proposed, he told Jen that he wanted her to have his child," a source said. "She's been joking that in a perfect world it will happen on the wedding night."

But Aniston would even be happy if she got the good news that she was expecting before her nuptial ceremony, the friend added.

"In truth, she'll be overjoyed whenever it happens; if that means she has to walk down the aisle with a baby bump and do her toasts with apple cider, then so be it," the insider said.
