5 Seconds of Summer headed over to Japan in February for some gigs and returned from there to the States in the beginning of last month to continue working on their next studio album.

On Thursday, Ashton Irwin, Luke Hemmings, Calum Hood and Michael Clifford, uploaded a video to their YouTube channel, which can be watched below, of their epic time in Japan.

"[S]o cool visiting [J]apan for the first time," the band revealed in the caption of the video.

When the band landed in Tokyo they received a warm welcome as many fans gathered in the airport to greet them.

The guys took some time to chat and take photos with as many fans as possible in the airport. Clifford has the most delightful moment in an elevator reenacting meeting a fan in the airport and gushes over how "adorable" she was.

5SOS feels as though going to Japan was like starting over again since they have established themselves in the United Kingdom, America and their homeland already.

Hemmings shares a very important message in the video: "Five words every band member wants to hear, 'Food is on its way.'"

Some fans in Japan were seen on camera sharing their excitement to finally have the Aussies over there. Footage from their headlining Tokyo gig is shown as well as some footage of the guys goofing around backstage after the show.
