The send-off for Paul Walker's character Brian O'Connor in Furious 7 was heart rending, as Brian decides to leave with his family.

Jordana Brewster Was "Most Emotional" While Filming After Paul Walker's Death

His wife Mia Toretto's (Jordana Brewster) expecting their second child, which spurs Brian's decision to leave the dangerous business of fast cars. The goodbye is subtle and emotional as Dominic (Vin Diesel) and his crew look on, at Brian, Mia and child playing on the beach.

Walker's brothers Caleb and Cody helped finish his character arc, stepping in for the crucial finishing bits as his body double. But moving forwards, the important question to ask is whether the producers of the Fast and Furious series will be filling the massive void left by Walker. His character was one of the most beloved ones in the franchise and played a key role in the family. They will need to find an A-list star to fill the deceased actor's shoes in Furious 8. While there has been no talk about this, as this whole process has been obviously about respecting Walker's memory and paying tribute to him, it will be interesting to see who joins the crew in the eighth instalment.
