Jon Hamm is supposedly planning his new life post his Mad Men career and from what we know, staying sober at the same time, too. A new report says that the Hollywood actor decided to clean up his act and quit alcohol for good because he was supposedly sick of waking up "hungerover" from blackouts when he was drinking.

According to Closer Magazine on Friday, the handsome actor, who has been in a long-term relationship with Jennifer Westfedlt, hit rock bottom before completing a stint in rehab earlier this year. Many have pointed out the similarities between Hamm and his on-screen character, Don Draper, who also battles with alcohol on a daily basis.

A source close to Hamm told the site, "Jon's going to meetings at least three times a week, calling his sponsor every day and meditating. He says he hasn't felt this good about himself in years."

The insider added, "Jon has known he's had a problem with drinking for many years, but it wasn't until the past year that he finally decided to get serious about sobriety. He was sick and tired of waking up hungover. The blackouts were more frequent, and he said he'd finally hit bottom."

Mad Men is currently in its last season and airs every Sunday on the AMC network at 10pm EST.
