The Vampire Diaries returns this week with a new episode after going on a brief hiatus.

On Thursday, April 16, the episode airing is called I Could Never Love Like That, and on Monday The Hollywood Reporter teased a sneak peek clip.

In the scene, Caroline (Candice Accola) is still without her humanity and she is enforcing a potentially deadly game of "Caroline Trivia" on her exes Tyler (Michael Trevino) and Matt (Zach Roerig).

"Let's play Caroline Trivia," the vicious blonde vampire demands of her two exes who do not look too keen on the idea.

"I don't even know what that is," Tyler remarks.

"Oh sure you do," Caroline insists, adding, "You both dated me, which means you should know everything about me."

"So I'm going to ask you some questions about myself," she explains of her little game, adding, "And whoever answers them right lives."

That reveal prompts Matt to tell her, "You're sick," but she disregards his claim and jumpstarts her game.

She first asks Tyler when her birthday is and he easily gets it right. Then she dishes a trick question at Matt asking about her favorite color, but Matt knows she doesn't have a favorite color and also manages to survive round one of her game.

She then went into a tiebreaker, asking about the last memory her mother Liz (Marguerite MacIntyre) had "before she kicked the bucket."

Tyler and Matt become slightly distraught as they claim she never mentioned that and Caroline taunts them saying, "Tick, tock, tick, tock," as if she needs them to give their answers immediately.
