Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kim Richards recently made headlines after news suffered that she had relapsed and began drinking. The reality star admitting that she was arrested in Beverly Hills as a result of her drinking and she's finally opening up about how being on the show has affected her behavior.
On Monday, Page Six reported that being on the show hasn't helped the reality star's drinking problem and she says that the hateful messages from some of the fans aren't always easy to deal with either.
Despite rumors that claim the reality star has been drinking the entire season, Richards says, "I have been sober."
"I haven't been working a program. Living through this season on the show, sometimes it's hard enough to get through it. The fans are very hard on me, and I went on Twitter to see what people were saying and it was just horrible."
Last week Reality Tea reported that an insider close to the production team revealed that Richards hasn't been sober in the last five seasons, she's just gotten better at hiding it.
Another insider with close ties to show producers told TMZ that due to the reality star's substance abuse issues, executives believe she's a liability and the network doesn't want to be responsible for her irrational behavior.
Since her relapse, and her recent arrest, the reality star sat down with Dr. Phil for an interview where she opens up about her alcohol addiction.
Richards' interview on Dr. Phil will air on Tuesday, April 28.
