In the finale of season 6 of The Good Wife, Kalinda (Archie Panjabi) did share a moment of closure with Alicia (Julianna Margulies) she left her lover Cary (Matt Czuchry) without a word.

Archie Panjabi & Julianna Margulies' Off-screen Rivalry Exposed?

Through the last two episodes Cary is mostly seen worrying for Kalinda's life, and trying to reach her, but she never said goodbye to the most important person in her life. This will obviously have repercussions on Cary's romantic future. In an interview with Huffington Post Live, Czuchry revealed that the "lack of closure" would affect his personal life in season 7.

"The good thing about that is that . . . Cary and Kalinda have had a strong friendship over 100-plus episodes, so that lack of closure is going to come into play in season 7," Czuchry said. "It would be interesting to see Cary with somebody else. Oftentimes we jump in relationships too soon after getting out of them, and it'd be interesting to see him to muddle through another relationship because he didn't get closure with Kalinda."

Archie Panjabi 'Just Walked Out' After Filming Last Scene

He did confirm that Kalinda would not be reappearing to give resolution to this facet of the show and there would be no scenes between the two of them in the next chapter.

While the characters didn't share an onscreen goodbye, there were definitely offscreen farewells between the actors who played the parts. Panjabi did post her last behind-the-scenes pic with Czuchry while filming her last scene with him. Panjabi had tweeted the picture of her and Czuchry with the following caption:

"The last time I film with #MattCzuchry on @TheGoodWife_CBS."

The finale for season 6, entitled 'Wanna Partner?' aired on CBS on May 10.
