Vehicular sports-action title Rocket League is making its way to PS4 and PC on July 7, with a newly announced bonus vehicle for the console version.

The special car is Sweet Tooth from Twisted Metal (seen below), available as a playable vehicle on PS4 only. You can see Sweet Tooth in action in the new trailer below, along with a demonstration of Rocket League's gameplay and features.

In Rocket League, players use rocket-powered cars to simulate a game of soccer, chasing a large ball around the arena and attempting to smash it into the opponent's net while defending your own. It is the sequel to Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars, and has been in beta on console.

Rocket League will also offer cross-platform play between PC and PS4, a rare feature in nearly any title out there. The title will be available to play at E3, according to the developers.

"This E3 will be one to remember, as gamers can delve into our new single-player mode, vie against their friends in splitscreen multiplayer, and check out Sweet Tooth's iconic ride," said Dave Hagewood, President, Psyonix. "We are honored that the community has embraced Rocket League as they have because it has helped us create an incredibly fun, socially-focused gaming experience."

The single-player mode and apparently massive car customization options were not available in the beta, but there are plenty of options for players--Psyonix says there are more than 10 billion combinations of aesthetic car parts and paint jobs. Rocket League features a Season Mode, team based online and local multiplayer with dedicated servers, and more.
