'Torchlight Mobile' Announced: Bestselling Action RPG Makes Debut At E3 2015
Runic Games and Perfect World have announced a brand new installment in the popular Torchlight franchise.
Steam's Summer Sale Is Now Live
The 2009 original game was created by former Diablo developers and certainly felt like it, a loot-focused action RPG that was tremendously addictive and was released to a ton of accoledes. The 2012 sequel, Torchlight II, added multiplayer support and introduced new clases, and was met with similar critical and commercial success, going on to sell over 3,000,000 copies.
Now it's been revealed that the series is heading to mobile devices this year with Torchlight Mobile, an entirely new game being developed by Perfect World that is due to release later this year for iOS and Android.
First Ratchet & Clank PS4 Trailer Released
The game will be similar to its predecessors, featuring online multiplayer and that same loot-focused gameplay.
The game takes place "in another faraway land where Ember is still being harvested by powerful civilizations. Players begin their adventure as one of three new character classes charged with fighting off the corruption that has maligned this land."
No word on price or official release date as of yet, but an early alpha version of Torchlight Mobile will be shown off at E3, so expect to hear much more on this exciting game soon, Keep an eye on their official site for more at Torchlightmobile.com.
