It looks like we've got a battle of the Jessica's brewing here. There's a new report that hints former chart topper Jessica Simpson might be a tad jealous of Jessica Alba and her successful business ventures, including The Honest Company.
According to OK! Magazine on Tuesday, even though Simpson has built quite a successful clothing empire herself, she's green with jealousy over the fact that The Honest Company has recently hit the $1 billion dollar mark after only being in business for three years.
What's more, Simpson is none too happy over the fact that it took her well over a decade to find the success and respect she deserves, while Alba managed to do the same in no time.
A source told the site, ""She busted her butt and paved the way for celeb businesswomen and is still fighting for respect. She feels like Jessica Alba just breezed onto the scene."
The Honest Company launched in 2012, emphasizing non-toxic products and is still very young, but is making such a big impact, landing Alba on the cover of Forbes magazine's America's Richest Self-Made Women issue.
The Hollywood beauty revealed to Forbes that in 2008, while pregnant with her first child, that she had a severe allergic reaction to baby detergent, which spurred her interest in formulating her own safe company since she couldn't find anything to meet her needs that was modern and not incredibly expensive.
