Young Thug is in a lot of trouble after an alleged dispute with a mall security guard.

Rumor About Bobby Shmurda's Time In Jail Gets Cleared Up

On Wednesday, AJC reported that the rapper was arrested that morning for allegedly threatening to shoot the security guard, which is said to have happened eight days prior. An arrest warrant claims that on July 7th, Thug- whose real name is Jeffrey Lamar Williams- was asked to leave the Atlanta mall where he was escorted out after he "threatened to shoot (a security guard) in the face."

According to Jim Joyner, spokesman for the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, Thug was arrested without incident at approximately 6AM at a Sandy Springs, Georgia location. Marshals were also helping the police serve a warrant, which is supposed to charge the rapper with terroristic threats.

Officer Timothy Fecht, spokesman for Dunwoody Police Department, said that the situation is due to a "dispute that Mr. Williams had with Perimeter Mall security."

Towards the afternoon, Thug has not been booked into the county jail. Joyner said that the rapper will be taken for a bond hearing and initial appearance.

No other information has been released at this time.

Some of Thug's most popular songs include "Off-Set," Outro," "Just Might Be" and "Halftime." Last September, he spoke with Bossip about calling his friends his "babes" where he said that "it's a language."
