As a woman on the internet -- even more so, as a writer on the internet -- I became all-too familiar with just how rude trolls can be. Mean comments usually run deep, and can range from superficial insults to something truly painful.

This is infinitely more true if you're a plus-size woman. At my heaviest, I felt uncomfortable posting selfies that showed my arms or my thighs, because I was convinced that my cellulite would prompt insults. I knew that the fear was all in my head, but I still felt self-conscious, especially after seeing what some of my plus-size writer and editor friends went through.

Now, Lane Bryant just launched a campaign to combat the bullying and negative body image. Using actresses Gaborey Sidibe and Danielle Brooks, along with model Ashley Graham, Lane Bryant took the negative comments targeted at each woman and used it to their advantage.

Tear-jerker, this is not. It shows empowered, badass, fabulous women being, well, fabulous.

See for yourself.
