She may still be traumatized by what happened to her during a Paris robbery and assault which saw her tied up and dumped in a bath tub and fearing for her life while five men stole millions of dollars worth of jewelry from her, but Kim Kardashian is not sitting back and allowing others to claim she lied about the entire thing.

According to multiple outlets, Kardashian has filed a lawsuit against the gossip site MediaTakeout and its founder, Fred Mwangaguhunga, seeking unspecified damages over a series of articles reported mere hours after her Oct. 3 attack that claimed she faked the robbery and lied about being assaulted.

The articles, which appear to have since been deleted, are claimed to have lacked any factual support of their claims she faked the robbery, lied about the violent assault, and filed a fraudulent claim with her insurance company to cheat her carrier out of millions of dollars. The suit also claims that the website ignored her demands that they publish a retraction and apology for calling her a liar and a criminal.

French police have said that five armed robbers forced their way into Kardashian's private luxury apartment while she was in Paris for Fashion Week, tied her up, gagged her, and dumped her in a bathtub. They then stole more than $10 million worth of jewelry, including a $4 million 20-carat diamond ring her husband, Kanye West, had gifted her just before the attack and that she had flaunted on Instagram just a few days prior. The men escaped on bicycles, and no arrests have yet been made.

Kardashian has reportedly been traumatized by the attack, with her sister, Khloe, breaking her silence on it during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and saying her sister still was not "doing well" after what happened.

"She's not doing that well, it's incredibly traumatic what happened to her," she said. "But our family is super close and great, and we'll get through it together."

Khloe also admitted that everyone in the family was rethinking their social media habits after the attack. While she, Kourtney, Kendall, Kylie, Kris and Rob have all remained on Instagram and posted about things to do with their careers, Caitlyn Jenner, West and Kim have all remained silent, with Jenner's only post recently being one where she acknowledged what happened to Kim and expressed gratefulness that she was okay.
