The First Signs of a Truce: Is Kanye West Reconsidering Becoming Kim Kardashian's Next-Door Neighbor?
It seems like Kanye West may be having second thoughts about moving in next door to ex-wife Kim Kardashian.
It is no secret to the world that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have spent the lion's share of the last year caught in the throws of a very public and very messy divorce. West has both picked open fights with his ex, and, contrarily, made grand gestures to try to get her back.
One such gesture was buying the house next to hers in Hidden Hills. This house was purchased under the understanding that it would make co-parenting their children easier, but, as West, at the time, was trying to get the Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum to return to him, it can be assumed that there were other motives.
However, this plan may be changing. According to an article on TMZ, the construction being done on the new West estate seems to have halted.
Could it be that Kanye is reconsidering his decision to move in next-door to the Kardashians star? He is currently in a new relationship with Chaney Jones, one that Kim Kardashian has earnestly wished him well in, and it seems that he's happy enough that his attempts to get Kardashian back have come to an apparent halt.
Kanye's plans to gut and remodel the house were public, but upon further investigation, none of the necessary permits have been acquired by the star to complete the remodel. This has the world thinking that maybe this move just isn't meant to be.
Reports have said that Kim and Kanye are not really talking right now, but it also seems that the height of the drama may, potentially have subsided.
