Another unexpected couple may be emerging on the Hollywood dating scene with news that Nicole Scherzinger and Ed Sheeran may be dating.

According to OK! Magazine, the pair are in the early stages of dating and the British singer has even taken her back to his home town in Suffolk, U.K.

"As far as he's concerned they were in the early stages of dating and he's been open about it with close friends and colleagues," sources said. "It may not develop beyond those dates but they're definitely tight."

The pair may already be so tight in fact that since they started dating, former Pussycat Doll Scherzinger has allegedly dedicated a song to him at a gig in Hollywood, and the 'Thinking Out Loud' singer and begun writing potential hit songs for her.

Scherzinger may be pleased that her new beau is writing music for her as well, since his songs were what helped her through her painful split with Lewis Hamilton-and helped bring her and Sheeran closer together.

"She was drawn to him over the last few months through his music," the source said. "When she split from Lewis, she was heartbroken but ended up playing Ed's songs on a loop."

Neither one has publicly commented on the romance, though Scherzinger did share a cute photo with her rumored new beau on Instagram last month, which featured the two standing back to back.
