Jake Gyllenhaal was the latest celebrity guest to stop by during Stephen Colbert's second week as host of The Late Show, and he definitely had the best response when asked about Amy Schumer's own appearance on the show a few days prior where she admitted she had once stolen a cheesecake from him.

During Schumer's appearance, she told Colbert about the time she rented Gyllenhaal's house in Hollywood, and while snooping around in his freezer, she came across a frozen cheesecake leftover from a birthday party -- and filmed herself eating it.

Now, after being shown the video by Colbert and laughing, Gyllenhaal was given the chance to form the perfect response when the Late Show host brought out a wrapped cheesecake that was identical to the one Schumer had taken.

"Do you want to send a message back to Amy?" Colbert asked as Gyllenhaal picked up the cake.

"Hey Princess, what's going on?" Gyllenhaal said to the camera before taking a bite.

He even took things one step further when Colbert went for a bite of the cake as well-joking with him that he had to bite in the same exact spot that he just had.

"Bite where I bit! No, I'm just kidding," he said to Colbert.

However, Colbert did play along with the joke, thanking his guest before taking a large bite, in the exact same place on the cake.

"YESS!!" Gyllenhaal shouted before applauding his host.
