Denzel Washington has been seen in St. Barts for his 58th birthday on Thursday, as he chose to spend his holidays with his wife, Pauletta Washington, on the Caribbean island.

The Hollywood actor was seen spending time on the beach with his wife, soaking up the good weather and taking a break from his usual busy acting schedule.

Washington and his wife looked extremely happy together and as in love as ever. They have been married now for 29 years, and still look like they know how to enjoy themselves and celebrate a birthday.

The Hollywood favorite was also seen on his personal yacht going out into the open sea, before late visiting a restaurant with his wife for an alfresco dinner.

The actor isn’t only hugely popular in the United States, and he attracted a lot of attention everywhere he went, with people lining up to pose with the actor at his table. The gracious actor looked only too happy to allow fans to take photos with him and give them his autograph.

St Bart’s is a hugely popular destination for celebrities at this time of the year. Washington and his wife were not the only ones visiting the island for the Christmas season. Other celebrities joining them there were reportedly Kate Moss, Russell Simmons, model Stephanie Seymour, as well as music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs.

In addition supermodel Naomi Campbell and moviemaker Harvey Weinstein are also visiting the island to celebrate and see in New Year’s with partygoers on the island.

Russian billionaire and owner of English Premier League soccer giants Chelsea, Roman Ambamovich is also said to be heading out to the island and will host a massive New Year’s bash. He has invited a hoard of celebrities and stars to his event, which is sure to be one of the most lavish parties of the New Year.

Washington and his wife have four children together - all now adults. His eldest is 28 year old John who now plays football for the Sacramento Mountain Lions. He also has a 24 year lo daughter, Katia, who graduated from the prestigious Yale University in 2010. He also has 21 year old twins, Olivia and Malcolm, who are still studying at present.
