Since announcing her split from her husband of almost three years, Bethenny Frankel is trying to get through one day at a time, according to her recent Twitter posts.

On Jan. 3, the former "Housewives of New York" star hinted to the fact that she is trying to move on from her divorce to businessman Jason Hoppy by spending quality time with their daughter, 2-year-old Bryn.

"Doing one meaningful activity with Bryn & one for myself really shifts my perspective every day. Do what you can," Frankel tweeted.

One follower asked what in specific Frankel was doing to distract herself from her failed marriage, posting, "What was your activity for the day."

The Skinnygirl cocktail mogul answered with, "It could be anything from making pancakes to swim lessons to a museum."

Hoppy, 41, is reportedly still living in their shared apartment in New York, perhaps to make things easier for their daughter. The couple announced their split on Dec. 23.

"It brings me great sadness to say that Jason and I are separating," Frankel, 42, said in a statement that day. "This was an extremely difficult decision that as a woman and a mother, I have to accept as the best choice for our family.

Frankel, 42, is reportedly "devastated" that her 2010 marriage to Hoppy has failed, a source told People magazine. The two constantly argued about work, money and family, and it came to a point where they decided the marriage was not working.

"It just got too hard to be husband and wife. With Bethenny, it was her way or the highway," the source said. "If you are a person who surrounds yourself with people telling you, 'You are right; we will bend over backwards to make things happen for you,' you will have a tough time in marriage. Marriage doesn't work that way."

The source added that reconciliation is not possible and "stress of the camera" following the family around for their Bravo reality shows was not a factor in their decision to divorce.
