Justin Timberlake released a new single Monday and announced plans to release his first album since 2006, three days after a tremendous buzz of his music comeback.

"Back in June of last year I quietly started working on what is now, my next journey with that thing I love called MUSIC," Timberlake revealed today on his website where the song is available.

The new single "Suit & Tie" features Jay-Z and is up for sale at the iTunes store and MySpace. Those who can't wait can listen to the song here. Rolling Stone described the song as a "horn-addled shuffler likely to inspire many new dance routines."

Timberlake's new album called "The 20/20 Experience," will be released later this year, he said in an open letter to his fans.

Last Friday, Timberlake hinted at his return to music with a video called "I'm Ready," in which he appeared to be walking into a music studio and leading fans to a three-day count down.

"The inspiration for this really came out of the blue and to be honest, I didn't expect anything out of it. I just went into the studio and started playing around with some sounds and songs. It was probably the best time I've had in my career..." he wrote on his website Monday. "Just creating with no rules and/or end goal in mind and really enjoying the process. What I came up with is something I couldn't be more excited about! It is full of inspiration that I grew up listening to and some newfound muses that I've discovered along the way."

He added, "I'm calling it 'The 20/20 Experience,' and it's coming out this year. I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed making it."

Timberlake's last album "FutureSex/LoveSounds" was released in 2006 and sold more than 10 million copies worldwide.
