Their romance is still new, but sources are now saying it was inevitable that Blake Shelton & Gwen Stefani eventually wound up together.

According to a new report in People, the two Voice coaches hooking up when they both became single again over the summer was inevitable because despite their different musical backgrounds, the two are actually very alike. 

"Those in their inner circles saw the chemistry and spark between them," a source said to the magazine. "That was undeniable. Gwen is a sweet, gentle person and Blake is too. They're both down-to-earth and have light personalities. It makes sense."

The new details about the couple's romance emerge at the same time that the reason behind Stefani's divorce from Gavin Rossdale was revealed.  

According to Us Weekly, Rossdale had been involved in a three-year affair with the couple's nanny, Mindy Mann. 

Stefani reportedly learned of the affair back in February, when she discovered explicit texts and nude photos exchanged between her husband and Mann. 

"The iPad was inked to Gavin's phone," a source told the magazine. "One of the other nannies discovered the exchange and told Gwen." 

Initially, Mann was fired, but Rossdale maintained it was just a flirtation. He finally confessed months later, which led to Stefani filing for divorce. 

"The admission completely devastated her," the source continued. "She was mortified, livid and embarrassed. This was done right under Gwen's nose."
