Rumors of marital strife between Donnie Wahlberg and Jenny McCarthy continue to creep up on the couple, but the New Kids on the Block singer and Blue Bloods actor is slamming the reports as completely false, and assures fans that he and McCarthy are not headed for divorce court after only a year and a half together.

In a new interview with the Boston Herald, Wahlberg says he and McCarthy were snuggling in bed watching a Christmas cartoon together when they read the reports of their alleged marriage trouble-and that the reports couldn't be further from the truth. 

"Jenny and I just read this as we are laying together, cuddling, while watching TV--Rudolph (The Red-Nosed Reindeer) to be specific. Ha, ha!" he said. "Not only is any story of our marital strife complete garbage, but we have never been happier."

Wahlberg also reiterated that the recycled rumors of issues with his family and McCarthy-specifically his brother, Mark, and sister-in-law, Rhea Durham-are false too, and that his brother wasn't at his wedding because of a birthday party for his daughter, not because he didn't like McCarthy.  

And, he admits, if anything were said by his family about his wife, he wouldn't care because there were no opinions that mattered about his marriage beyond the ones of those in it.  

"The only person names Wahlberg (outside of my mom and my children) whose opinion of whom I am married to is of any concern to me, is that of my wife-Mrs. Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg," he said. "But for those concerned: Mark and Jenny get along great."
