Amongst playing some gigs here and there, Dinah Jane Hansen, Camila Cabello, Lauren Jauregui, Normani Kordei Hamilton and Ally Brooke Hernandez have been super busy recording for their sophomore studio album.

Camila Cabello Dishes Shawn Mendes 'Knows What It Means To Be A Friend'

Earlier this year the girls, better known collectively as Fifth Harmony, released their debut album Reflection, which definitely had R&B vibes in it. But it seems as though their follow-up that is expected to drop in 2016 will be even more so in the R&B lane.

Jauregui chatted with Spin recently about the progress of the upcoming album, in which she dished the group has been working with a very current female R&B artist. It's Tinashe!

The "Player" singer wrote quite a few songs for the quintet with Jauregui describing those songs as containing "melodic pop with R&B pockets."

"She has really sick melody flows and lyrics," Jauregui added about Tinashe's skills as a songwriter.

"It's very cohesive with us. It's drawing from the same experience. That's what's important at the end of the day: having an authentic sound and having someone who understands what we're going through," the 5H member further dished about working with Tinashe since she is around the same age as the girl group members.

The 5H girls range in age from 18 to 22 and Tinashe is 22 so they all can relate quite well.

The Miami native also dished that this album will be "less gimmicky than last time" since they have definitely honed in more on the R&B sound.

"We're going for the more urban, R&B vibes and then we also have a lot of different little moments and genres that are typically tied into the R&B vibe but not so strictly married to it," she concluded.

We can't wait to hear the new album especially the songs that were penned by Tinashe!
