The fall finale of season 7 of The Good Wife left many fans wondering if Jason (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) was leaving for good, which would mean that Alicia (Julianna Margulies) wouldn't be getting any action any time soon.

Could Hillary Clinton Guest Star In An Upcoming Episode?

Alicia and Jason politely said their goodbyes in the episode as he was packing up to move on to a new very well paid assignment -- for Courtney Boalt (Vanessa Williams) -- in the Bay area. It was a sad scene as Alicia and Jason could be seen silently acknowledging the attraction. It seemed to most that Eli (Alan Cumming) and Ruth (Margot Martindale) finally got their way.

But in a recent interview, co-creators Robert and Michelle King revealed that the this was definitely not the end for Jason and that we will be seeing him in the rest of the episodes of season 7 of the legal drama.

Chances Of CBS Legal Drama's Renewal Look Slim

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, they dished: "Oh yeah. He's in all remaining episodes this year except one."

In fact, after Eli's admission to Alicia, which completely shocked and enraged her she might not let her life be compromised by these political forces anymore. The emotional turmoil might actually spur her to claim what she wants unapologetically, and we reckon this will create a twist in the plot for Jason. She might actually be bold enough to ask him to stay back for her, and do something about the chemistry between them.

The fall finale, titled 'KSR,' aired on December 13.
