One Direction's hiatus is kind of underway and while Liam Payne has been avoiding social media on his own, his pal and collaborator Juicy J hasn't!

Breathe, One Direction Apparently Really Isn't Over For Good!

The rapper and the boy band member have been working together, which is no surprise considering Juicy J has tweeted about their joint efforts.

These two are clearly continuing to vibe since the Columbia Records-signed rapper shared a snap with Payne and 808 Mafia's TM88 from a recent recording studio session.

Which One Direction Collaborator Gave Forever In Your Mind A Song To Record?

Apparently it's like fire since Juicy J shared four flame emojis.

TMZ

reported Tuesday that Payne recorded five tracks while with Juicy J and TM88 in Malibu, California over the weekend. The celebrity news site was told that Payne does a combination of singing and rapping on a few of the songs he recorded. The coolest part is that according to TMZ, everyone that has heard the recordings thinks Payne sounds great. Who knew he could rap so well? He apparently freestyled during the session, which definitely takes skill and talent.

TM88 did say on Saturday they were "making magic!!"

TM88 is totally backing Payne's rapping endeavor since he retweeted a video a Payne fan account posted from TMZ talking about Payne's studio session with him and Juicy J.

He even called Payne "the s---" in the most flattering way imaginable a few days ago!

Bring on Payne's solo debut! We're ready for it!
