Jennifer Lawrence won the Oscar for Best Actress in a Leading Role on Sunday, and while her tumble on the stage will go down in history, it may be the perfect moment for to stir up some publicity for her Miss Dior Campaign.

The Silver Linings Playbook star tripped on the second step up the stairs as Les Miserables actor Hugh Jackman jumped to his feet to try and help her. After finally making it to the podium, Lawrence managed a joke as she collected an Oscar for her performance as a recovering sex addict in the comedic drama.

"You guys are just standing up because you feel bad that I fell over and that's embarrassing," she said. "This is nuts."

Lawrence is now the face of Miss Dior and looked stunning in the strapless gown with a huge fishtail skirt. After the incident, Tumblr user i-nsan posted a photoshopped picture of a shot where Lawrence was crouched over from her fall.

The spoof had been created by freeze-framing the clip the moment she fell, conveniently showcasing the beautiful gown and looking remarkably like an ad.

The user dramatized the picture by changing it to black and white, and added a Christian Dior Paris logo at the bottom.

According to reports, the spoof advert has been receiving huge feedback, prompting many people to think if the actress planned the fall beforehand.

At a press conference after the Oscars, Lawrence added more fuel to the fall when she went off on one photographer who told her to "watch her step." She responded by making an obscene gesture.

When asked what happened in terms of the fall, Lawrence told the Academy backstage: "What do you mean, what happened? Look at my dress. I tried to walk up stairs in this dress. That's what happened. I think I just stepped on the fabric and they waxed the stairs."

One reporter asked if her tumble was a joke and she responded, "Was that on purpose? Absolutely."

Lawrence was photographed on Feb. 27 smoking what appeared to be a marijuana joint while hanging out with a friend in Hawaii. Jennifer is there to shoot some more scenes for her upcoming movie The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, which is set to be released later this year.
