The Shrine Auditorium where the Screen Actors Guild Awards will be held, had to be evacuated Sunday ahead of the show, according to Deadline.com.

Everyone at the entire auditorium and the red carpet was told to leave the building immediately for a sweep, reports the site, as security forces with bomb detecting dogs arrived to the scene around 5 p.m. EST.

However the site reports that people were allowed to go back to the auditorium after 15 minutes and the red carpet was being reopened.

A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department, however, told MailOnline that they knew of no security threat at the auditorium.

The auditorium located on West Jefferson Boulevard in Los Angeles, has been the venue for the American Music Awards, BET Awards, the Grammys, Screen Actors Guild Awards, NAACP Image Awards, the Academy Awards and more. It seats up to 6,300 people.
