Justin Bieber apologized to angry London concertgoers for starting his Monday show two hours late, blaming technical issues.

In a series of tweets posted on Tuesday he addressed the O2 Arena delay by saying, "last night i was scheduled after 3 opening acts to go on stage at 935 not 830 but because of some technical issues i got on at 10:10..so... was 40 min late to stage."

"There is no excuse for that and I apologize for anyone we upset," he added. "I never have any intent to upset or let anyone down. and Im not okay with things being exaggerated. once again sorry for anyone upset."

The 19-year-old also said he would put out a great show on Tuesday show that would not disappoint.

BBC News reported that Bieber faced angry parents who arrived at the arena expecting to pick up their children but it happened to be the same time the singer finally got on stage. Some fans booed for an hour before Bieber began the show for being treated to a string of Michael Jackson songs and no explanation for the late start.

Some furious concertgoers vented their frustration via Twitter.

"Someone needs to buy Justin Bieber an alarm clock - or give him a boot up the bum. 90 minutes late on stage on O2 on a school night... poor," a fan tweeted.

Financial analyst Louise Cooper, who took her 9-year-old daughter to the concert as a birthday present, said, "There were teenage girls crying outside."

By the time the concert started attendees said organizers cut nearly a half hour of the show to avoid hitting a curfew time, according to MTV.
