K. Michelle and Mickey “Memphitz” Wright have buried their beef! Interestingly enough, it came just after his wife Toya Wright revealed she and Memphitz are going their separate ways followed by a huge feud between the two ladies.
Well now, K. Michelle has revealed that she and Memphitz have put their negative history behind them.
She took to Instagram Sunday to tell fans the news. She began by sharing that she had been struggling with her past with Memphitz for five years. She said she has tried everything she could to get over the “hurt” but nothing seemed to work. Things took an even bigger toll when she and Toya got into it on social media after K. Michelle laughed at the Wright’s split.
K. Michelle confessed, “I took pride in someone else’s hurt, because they hurt me. My little spat was uncalled for but needed.”
She then went on to say that she and Memphitz “spoke for the first time in years.”
She said she left her lawyers and everyone out of it and was pleasantly shocked in the end.
“To my surprise it was not only a mature convo, but I felt like the world had been lifted off my back. I spoke my peace, he spoke his and the closure happened. We even laughed. I thanked him for being the first person to sign me to a label, and he even apologized for the numerous negative social media posts. Wow…”
