After Joy Behar announced Thursday that she will be leaving The View after this season ends, Elisabeth Hasselbeck might also be on the way out.

A source told Us Weekly that a poll revealed Elisabeth Hasselbeck wasn't very popular on the show because of her conservative voice. And now, she might have to go.

The viewers they polled all said she was "too extreme and right wing," the insider told the publication.

Because of that, the insider allegedly claims people didn't want to watch the show and Hasselbeck was told yesterday her contract wouldn't be renewed.

However, a rep for the show told the magazine, "Elisabeth Hasselbeck is a valued member of The View and has a long term contract."

Hasselbeck, who has been on The View for nine years, came to the show in 2002 following TV personality and journalist Lisa Ling's departure in 2002. Hasselbeck started as a guest host.

The Republican made her debut as a finalist on the game show Survivor in 2001 when it took place in Australia. She is also a contributor to ABC's Good Morning America.
