Blake Shelton is only two episodes in on The Voice, but already, a source claims he is at war with Christina Aguilera.

Last year, Shelton was joined on stage by his girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, but after she left and Aguilera returned, he's reportedly much less happy, and planning to do what he can to pursuade Aguilera not to return for future seasons of the NBC show.

“[Shelton] hates the fact that Gwen is no longer with him this season,” an onset source told Radar Online on Wednesday. “Everyone knows this and he is taking it out on Christina, and they are not getting a long at all.”

“It’s his mission to make this as uncomfortable as possible for her so that she will not want to return next season,” added the source.

According to the report, Shelton actually threatened to leave the show after it was confirmed that Aguilera would be returning to the series, instead of his girlfriend. 

“The execs knew that Blake was bluffing, thankfully,” a source said at the time. “This is such a huge source of income for Blake and America loves him, so they came up with a plan to bring Gwen back on as a mentor on Blake’s team.”

The Voice season 10 airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on NBC.
