Amal Clooney doesn't give many public interviews (especially when it comes to her private life), but it looks like she likes to tell it likes it is when it comes to her students. George Clooney's wife recently revealed her advice for aspiring attorneys who wants to make it big in her field of work.

And while Amal's on claim to fame is marrying a Hollywood star, she was also known as a prominent international Human Rights lawyer before her pics ended up on the covers of gossip magazines.

According to the blog Above The Law, Clooney told her students at Columbia Law School last spring that doing meaningful and passionate work will help aspiring attorneys get to their goal. She also says the "scrap a ten-year plan" and put "trust in the journey" when it comes to their careers instead.

Other tidbits from Amal include, "If your nonprofit or pro-bono work can make a difference to just one person, the work is worth it," along with, "You don't need to start your career with a long-term plan, it's better to see where the work takes you."

But her most important piece of advice? She told her students, "no one is above the law" and that includes everyone, no matter how "powerful or successful" they are.

The Lebanese-born beauty married George Clooney in a lavish, star-studded ceremony in Venice back in September of 2014.
