Leonardio di Caprio and Rihanna are going to have a hard time keeping their rumored relationship on the down low, if that's what they plan on doing here. After they were reportedly spotted getting up close and personal during several different occasions now, Leonardo himself is keeping mum about the dating rumors, instead talking about his male friends and his relationship with his father.

In a new interview with British GQ Magazine, Leonardo, who won the Best Oscar award for his role in The Revenant this year, wasn't what you would think it would be growing up in Los Angeles.

On seeing drug addicts on almost a daily basis, he called, "I would walk outside my house and it was everywhere--crack heads everywhere. It made me think twice. It was a great lesson, and I'm not saying that's what kids need to see, in order to run away from it. But it was just never going to be an option for me."

Leonardo also talked about several different relationship that he holds close to his heart, along with his best Hollywood friend Tobey Maguire (saying "I just made him my pal. When I want someone to be my friend, I just make them my friend") and his own father, George di Caprio.

He explained, "My dad has been incredibly influential. I give him credit for so many of my choices as an actor, especially early on, steering me towards non-obvious sorts of characters and to take risks. My father says basically this: "No matter what you do, two things matter. Try to lead an interesting life and no matter what your life is like, try to find a way to wake up every morning and just be happy you can put your pants on."
