Could Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner be on the verge of a reconciliation?

According to a new report, the couple was spotted at Le Petit Marché restaurant in Paris with their three children, Violet, 10, Seraphina, 7, and Samuel, 4, on Friday evening, and during their outing, they were allegedly "affectionate" with one another.

"At first they were alone and appeared to be affectionate, then were joined by the kids," a source told PEOPLE Magazine on Saturday.

Prior to their dinner, claimed the source, Garner took the children to the Roue de Paris, the Place de L'Opéra, Sacré-Cœur Basilica and the Jardin du Luxembourg. Meanwhile, Affleck arrived to Paris on Thursday and a short time later, he and his wife were seen spending quality time with their kids at the Amorino ice cream parlor.

Affleck is currently filming Justice League in London and according to a Daily Mail report, Garner and her children are using the opportunity to explore all of Europe. However, according to a source close to the couple, their family outings don't necessarily mean they are reconciling. In fact, one source told PEOPLE the the family trip to Paris was "normal" for the pair.

"They are so excited for this opportunity for the kids," a family friend told PEOPLE. "He is shooting over there and they will likely come back and forth. He similarly brought the kids to the set during Miracles From Heaven. This is normal for them."

That said, Affleck and Garner have been separated for nearly a year and have yet to file for divorce.

"Nothing has changed," and they're "still all about putting the kids first," according to another insider.

Last summer, as Affleck and Garner parted ways, rumors of his alleged affair with their nanny, Christine Ouzounian, began swirling.

Months later, Garner addressed the reports.

"Let me just tell you something," Garner told Vanity Fair. "We had been separated for months before I ever heard about the nanny. She had nothing to with our decision to divorce. She was not a part of the equation."
