Nicki Minaj blasted her ex Safaree Samuels on Twitter as she aired lots of dirty laundry. And while he briefly replied during her rant, it might be the last time we see them go back-and-forth.

 Complex magazine caught up with Samuels, who has said that he is the brains behind many of Nicki’s hit songs, shortly after the battle on Twitter in which Nicki revealed Samuels is suing him for emotional distress.

Samuels began by pointing out that their legal issues were supposed to stay personal and private but Nicki decided to let her millions of followers in on it when she tweeted about this week. He accused her of doing so for “attention.” He went on to say that he refuses to take part in anymore rants and rifts on social media with his ex and hopes things can be peaceful between them as they continue their legal issues.

The statement reads, “Initially things were being handled privately behind the scenes but it was taken to social media and unfortunately its now being played out in the public eye which could easily be interpreted as a cry for attention. Safaree will not continue in any more social media feuds and at this time we are unable to comment or provide any details pertaining to the current legal proceedings that are taking place with Safaree Samuels and Nicki Minaj. We are confident that things will be both favorable and amicable for all parties.”

Samuels also responded on Twitter before his statement.
