The drama with Laura Govan and Gilbert Arenas was too much for her to handle.

Govan has officially ended the ongoing beef she had with her ex-fiance and father of her four children, Gilbert Arenas. She shared a lengthy Instagram post just in time for Father’s Day and decided to end their issues once and for all; or at least take them out of the public eye.

She wrote on a photo of Gilbert and the kids, “I look at this picture and remember a time where the animosity between me and my kids father didn’t exist… Where instead of lawsuits there was love, instead of insults there were compliments and instead of frustration there was forgiveness.”

She went on to “acknowledge” her role that contributed to all of the drama.

“Somehow I let all of these emotions I felt for him get the best of me… and with that I forgot the most important thing that exist between us… Our children!”

She offered a “sincere” apology and broke down how she understands she has to be a positive example for their kids.

“It doesn’t mean that I’ll like him all of the time… It also doesn’t mean we’ll always agree, but it does mean that I can find the good in a person with whom I once loved for the sake of our children…”

While she’s not confident they will be able to relive the moment in the photo, she is ready to move in the right direction.

See it below.

I look at this Picture and Remember a time where the Animosity Between Me and My Kids Father didn't Exist... Where instead of lawsuits there was Love, instead of Insults there were Compliments and instead of Frustration there was Forgiveness. I'm not writing w/o Acknowledging my Part in this Ordeal... Somehow I let All of these Emotions I felt for him get the Best of Me... and with that I Forgot the Most Important thing that exist Between Us... Our Children! This doesn't Erase the Pain inflicted on Me nor the Pain I've inflicted on Him but it stands as a Declaration of My Re-dedication to what's Important... ME as a Mother and HIM as a Father and the Example we have to set for OUR Children! For My Part... I'm Sincerely SORRY! As I Teach Our Kids to Honor their Father (according to the Word of God), not to Mention the 1st Commandment w/a Promise... I do so knowing that I as their Example have to Learn to Honor him Myself. Honor doesn't mean that I'll like him All of the time... It also Doesn't mean we'll always Agree, but it does mean, that I can find the good in a Person with whom I Once Loved for the sake of Our Children and Show Honor because He Helped Me Create Them... and Not for Nothing is a Good Father, who's Love for Our Little Ones Goes W/O Question... Can we get back to the Happiness that Existed in this Photo??? #InRealLife... Probably Not... But Today and Everyday from Now On, I'll take the steps in the Right Direction to get Us Close... @no.chill.gil #HappyFathersDayMess ... #StepsInTheRightDirection #TimeToLetGo #InRealLife #ForOurKids
