After long months of waiting, The Pokemon Company and Niantic Labs have finally started rolling out the full, playable version of the highly-anticipated augmented reality game, Pokemon GO. The game has been confirmed to be available in Australia and New Zealand, and its rollout in the United States has also begun.

The game has already been confirmed to be available in both the iOS App Store and the Google Play store as of Thursday. If the game is still inaccessible, however, the developers of the game assure Pokemon aficionados that the augmented reality title would be fully rolled out in several regions internationally within the next few days.

Though there have been a number of criticisms of the game during its beta testing, the title has been largely well-received by the public since its launch. In fact, the game's servers are currently so overloaded that even those who have managed to download the game are finding it tricky to actually log into an active server.

From initial impressions of gamers, the full version of Pokemon GO mostly lives up to the hype. Despite the rather different mechanics of the title compared to other, more traditional Pokemon games, most gamers who have actually managed to play the game have stated that the learning curve of Pokemon GO is not very steep at all.

Pokemon GO uses a unique gameplay system that is very similar to Niantic Labs' iconic game, Ingress, which is also an augmented reality title that required players to move from one real-world location to another in order to complete in-game goals. In Pokemon GO, capturing the titular pocket monsters require players to travel to real-world places, where gamers can attempt to acquire Pokemon by using on-screen Pokeballs.

One of the things that have endeared numerous gamers so far is the way Pokemon GO starts off. When the game begins, players are given the choice to pick their starter Pokemon, which, as nostalgia dictates, is a choice between Charmander, Squirtle and of course, the capable, if underappreciated Bulbasaur.

Hopefully, the full, worldwide rollout of Pokemon GO will be fully completed within the next few days.
