Selena Gomez Justin Bieber Tattoo of Love; Reunion Hinted in New Ink After They Got Back Together in Europe? PHOTOS
Justin Bieber added another tattoo to his body collection and the latest ink could be hinting to the fact that he has rekindled his romance with ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez.
The All Around the World singer got the image of a Koi Carp, an ornamental fish, added right below his left arm tattoo of an own and a cross representing the Greek letter "Chi."
The new ink was spotted on his arm while the Canadian was backstage at his Copenhagen, Denmark concert on April 20. A photo taken at the show revealed the tattoo, shown here.
It is not exactly known when the singer got the respective tattoo, said to be his 13th.
The Koi fish is an ancient symbol of masculinity and strength in China and Japan, according to Design of Tattoos. It represents perseverance in the face of adversity and strength of character, as well as wisdom, knowledge, longevity and loyalty. The website noted that in the design of tattoos, Koi symbolizes courage, crossing obstacles and fulfilling life goals.
All of Bieber's other tattoos have a significance to his singer - he has a tribute to his grandfather on his shoulder blade - so can the fish image have anything to do with Bieber recently meeting up with Gomez?
The claim is a real possiblity since in Japanese "Koi" means love and sporting a Koi fish tattoo can mean being in love and not caring about the opinion of others, according to Buzzle.
Gomez reportedly flew to Norway to meet Bieber while he was in the country as part of his Believe world tour. He performed in Oslo on April 18 and the pair were spotted kissing after his concert, according to People.
"They were holding hands, hugging and they kissed on the lips," a source told the magazine. "They looked really in love, like no fights ever happened before. It definitely looked like they were back together."
Bieber then uploaded on Instagram a picture of him getting cozy with Gomez, though it was later deleted.
