While a judge ruled against him, record label executive Mickey “Memphitz” Wright is still out to prove that he never physically abused his ex-girlfriend, singer K. Michelle amid his marital woes with his wife Toya Wright.

K. Michelle ignited the feud when she blasted Memphitz for allegedly physically assaulting her and threatening her and her child on the first season of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta back in 2012. Memhpitz filed and lost a lawsuit against K. Michelle, VH1 and its parent company Viacom. It has also caused a strain in his marriage to Toya as the two fought for their marriage on WeTV’s Marriage Bootcamp: Reality Stars.

In a teaser for the show, Toya explains that she still questions whether Memphitz really abused K. Michelle or any other woman. So he takes a lie detector test.

The question of, “Did you ever hit a woman?” was raised.

Toya makes it clear, “I’m totally against domestic violence. If this test comes back that Mickey has abused a woman, our relationship will be over.”

He said, “No,” and according to the test he was telling the truth.

“I’m so freaking happy,” she said. “Now we are past all of that. We can move on with our marriage and be happy.”

It’s not clear what happened after this taping, but Toya then filed for divorce against Memphitz. And K. Michelle still maintains that Memphitz assaulted her when they were dating years ago.
